The Ontario Association of Triathletes is pleased to award the 2010 OAT Academic Scholarship to
Alexander Hinton from Kingston Ontario.

This $5,000 academic scholarship is awarded annually to a young OAT member who, in the opinion of the selection committee, achieves outstanding academic scores while training for international competition in a high performance setting in Ontario.
Alexander, who will be entering his second year at the University of Guelph in the 2010-2011 academic season, is coached by Craig Taylor and trains at the Region Triathlon Centre at the University of Guelph.
After struggling with a foot injury for a good part of the winter Alexander started his season off well, placing as the third Canadian Junior Male at PATCO in May and recently secured a spot on the Junior Canadian World Championship Team for 2010.
Congratulations to Alexander!
