  3. Have sport accident insurance – to supplement the member’s existing coverage – does not cover equipment
  4. Can access the Member Bike Insurance programme.  Insure your bike for accidents during Triathlon Ontario sanctioned races and new in 2012 selected WTC races in Canada and the United States
  5. TRIATHLON ONTARIO Coach Members will receive free access to SIRC (Sport Research Library with over 4,000 titles) - a $50 value new in 2012

What does TRIATHLON ONTARIO do on your behalf?

  1. Liaises with the Ministry of Health Promotion on behalf of  our members
  2. Official representative of all Ontario multisport athletes to Triathlon Canada and ITU
  3. Works with Ontario Race Directors to develop the best race calendar in Canada
  4. Official training
  5. administers the NCCP Triathlon Coach Training programme in Ontario
  6. develops training camps, training days and other training opportunities
  7. secures national team qualifying spots on behalf of our members
  8. Athlete Recognition through annual TRIATHLON ONTARIO awards
  9. Delivers Kids of Steel programme in Ontario
  10. Development of new programmes encouraging an active lifestyle through multisport activities
  11. Lobbies Triathlon Canada for rule changes
  12. Provides technical assistance to new race directors in developing races
  13. Assists local community organizations in accessing government grants for triathlon or multisport related activities and programmes
  14. Member of the Sport4Ontario which lobbies for better funding, facilities and access to sport for all Ontario residents
  15. Provides guidance and ensures safety at race venues through Triathlon Ontario sanctioning and officiating
  16. Supports local clubs through coach education workshops and the Club Championship programme
