SUMMARY:British Triathlon Coach Russ Barber Seminar
DESCRIPTION:Triathlon Ontario’s Provincial Development Program is proud to host a talk with British Triathlon coach Russ Barber at 2pm eastern on Sunday October 27th..\n\nAfter coaching swimmers to four Olympic Games\, coach Barber transitioned from Aquatics GB to British Triathlon where he took the position as a swim specialist.  He has worked with triathlon Olympic medalists such as Georgia Taylor Brown\, Jess Learmonth and Alex Yee.\n\n\nThe seminar will include\n– Training and coaching methods used to get cross over athletes swimming competitively\n– training the technical elements and GAPS\n– training focus VO2max vs Threshold\n– training structures\n– coach and athlete welfare\, mental health and chronic fatigue\n\nThe talk will be over ZOOM\, coaches will be sent the log in information a couple of days prior to the seminar.\n\nPlease contact Provincial Development Coach Greg Kealey at coach@triathlonontario.com for any questions.\n\nREGISTER
