DESCRIPTION:Triathlon Ontario’s Provincial Development Program is hosting a Provincial Training Day on April 12th at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre. This training opportunity is open to all draft legal pathway athletes aged 13-25. Training days provide opportunities for athletes across the province to work with top Ontario coaches and professionals within our network. \n\nLocation: Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre\nTime – 11:30am to 4pm\n\nSchedule:\n\n\nSwim session 11:30am to 1:00pm Race simulation and stroke analysis. Stroke efficency under race pace conditions\, the swim session will consist of race simulation sets with a focus on maintaining proper timing (hip rotation\, breathing patterns) and stroke efficency.\n\nTrack session 1:30pm – 2:30pm – Single leg stability under pressure\, foot work drills\, and timed runs. A focus on introducing single leg stability drills at an advanced pace and foot work drills to enhance power transfer and reduce energy loss. DESCRIPTION:Triathlon Ontario is running a Drafting Certification Saturday May 10 at 10am in Ottawa\, ON. \n  \nDraft Certifications\nThe drafting certifications are free of charge and open to members 12 years and older. Drafting certifications are required for any athlete interested in competing in the 14-15 Youth Cup\, Ontario Summer Games\, Junior or Elite/U23 Cup\, as well as at the national or international level.  Drafting certification is not required for Age Groupers to compete in any draft legal competition. \nCertifications are not “learn to draft” clinics. The certifications are intended to be evaluations and therefore\, athletes should be proficient in the skill sets tested prior to arrival\, with proper equipment.
