SUMMARY:Triathlon Ontario Draft Legal Certification - Peterborough
DESCRIPTION:Triathlon Ontario is running a Drafting Certification Saturday\, June 7th in Peterborough\, ON. \n  \nDrafting Certifications\nDrafting certifications are free of charge and open to Triathlon Ontario members 12 years and older who are proficient and ready to be tested. Drafting certifications are required for any athlete to compete in the 14-15 Youth Cup\, Ontario Summer Games\, Canada Summer Games\, Junior Cup\, or Elite/U23 Cup\, as well as at the national or international level. \nDrafting certification is not required for Age Groupers to compete in any draft legal competition. \nCertifications are evaluations\, not “learn to draft” clinics. Athletes should be proficient in the skill sets tested\, with proper equipment\, prior to arrival. \nPlease review Triathlon Ontario’s Drafting Certification Manual and Drafting Certification Checklist for more information about what kind of drafting skills are expected to attain certification. \n  \nEquipment\nAll athletes are required to have road bikes with clipless pedals and cleats on their shoes in order to participate in all testing drills. \n  \nLocation & Time\nDouro Community Centre and Arena\n2893 Highway 28 and County Road 4\nDouro\, Ontario K9J 6Y2 \nEvent begins at 9:00 am and runs until 11:00am. \n  \nREGISTRATION

SUMMARY:Ontario Summer Games
DESCRIPTION:From July 30 – August 2\, 2026 at multiple sporting venues across Waterloo Region and will welcome up to 3\,500 participants (athletes\, coaches and officials) from across Ontario. Athletes aged 12 to 18 will participate in more than 15 different sport events\, including basketball\, canoe kayak\, field hockey\, lacrosse (box and field)\, rugby\, softball\, table tennis\, triathlon and volleyball (indoor and beach). \n  \nThere will be two 2026 “Wild Card” races\, one per age group. The Wild Card race for 15 year olds will be the C3 Kids of Steel in Caledon on May 24th. The Wild Card race for 16 year olds will be the Subaru Series Milton Try-a-Tri race in Milton on June 7th. All remaining spots will be available. Any athletes age 15-16 (in 2026) not already qualified can attempt to qualify at those races.
