– First in series celebrates Cody Beals’ IRONMAN debut, win and course record –
October 11, 2018 – Triathlon Ontario, the recognized Provincial governing body of Multisport in Ontario, announced October 11, 2018 – Triathlon Ontario, the recognized Provincial governing body of Multisport in Ontario, announced a new unique, collectible poster series that will celebrate the outstanding achievements of Ontario triathletes. The first poster in the series celebrates Cody Beals’ IRONMAN debut, victory and course record at IRONMAN Mont-Tremblant earlier this summer.
“Ontario has a rich history of excellence in triathlon and that success continues today with a number of world class athletes marking their mark,” said Phil Dale, Triathlon Ontario Executive Director. “We are excited to offer this unique opportunity for fans of Cody’s to show their appreciation of not only a great accomplishment, but a great person.”
Each poster will be autographed by Cody. Proceeds from the sales will be divided evenly between Triathlon Ontario and Cody Beals, with Triathlon Ontario’s portion being reinvested into youth and junior programming and Cody’s portion being donated to the Guelph Triathlon Project.

About the Artist
Steve Thomas, a Windsor, Ontario native, makes his home in Minnesota. Steve was an accomplished Canadian national swimmer, having competed at Olympic trials, won multiple gold medals at Canada Summer Games and swam on a scholarship for Ohio University. After his retirement from swimming Steve became a graphic artist, working a style described as “retro futuristic”, designing t-shirts and posters for various subject matters such as the Minnesota Vikings, Star Wars, travel, movie and propaganda themes.
