Provincial Training Opportunity for Development Athletes

 

November 19, 2018 – Triathlon Ontario, the recognized Provincial governing body of Multisport in Ontario, announced a Provincial Development Program (“PDP”) drop-in training opportunity on December 1 at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre. This is an opportunity for all Ontario development athletes aged 15-25 to take advantage of Provincial level coaching and experience the benefits and services of the PDP.

Schedule

Saturday, December 1
Swim Session #1 – 7:30 am – 9:00 am
First swim session will focus on breaking down the freestyle stroke – swim posture, head position, identifying power zone, setting up the catch.

Run Session 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
The run session will include a run video analysis with a focus on consistent cadence and run strength.

Swim Session #2 – 2:30 pm – 4:00 pm
The second swim session will focus on top end speed while holding proper form.

There will be some planned recover in between sessions and some discussions about goal setting and race planning.

Cost of the session will be $85.
