June 22, 2017Triathlon Ontario, the recognized Provincial Governing Body of Multisport in Ontario, starts off its popular Long Course Series this weekend at host venue MultiSport Canada’s Rose City Long Course Triathlon in Welland on Sunday.
The water temperature in the canal was measured on Tuesday as 18.2 Celsius, which means a wetsuit optional swim.

Go to the MSC website to find all kinds of good information about the Welland event.

The Long Course Series rules are simple, race as many of the four series races as you like but only the best two results will count. You need to be a current Triathlon Ontario member and you will score points based on your finishing position within your gender age group.

There are two divisions, Age Group (under 40 as of Dec. 31) and Masters (40 and over as of Dec. 31). Winners get immortalized on the Long Course trophy and get recognized with their own award at the season ending annual awards celebration.

All you need to do is sign up, race (have fun) and we will do the rest!
