There won’t be any Hammer Throw, or Breaking, or Cycling, but THE SAINTS NATION SWIM & RUN on Sunday, August 18 at St. Clair College, will have Swimming, and will have Running!

Plus we’re going to keep our Summer Olympic celebration going that morning as we continue to enjoy the success of all our athletes at the Olympics. It’s actually Summer McIntosh’s 18th birthday that day too!

The last local multi-sport event for your kids (adults can participate too!) this summer will provide financial support for the SRC Food Bank, a complimentary service for St. Clair College students.

Welcome to Triathlon Ontario’s Aquathlon Provincial Championships!

The aquathlon consists of a 2.5km run, 1km swim and a 2.5km run provided the water temperature is 22 C or above and therefore, wetsuit illegal. If the water temperature is below 22 C, wetsuits are legal and the event switches to a 1km swim and a 5km run.

The Provincial Championship also offers the opportunity to qualify for next year’s Aquathlon World Age Group Championships with two spots per age group per gender available.

Everyone must be a current Triathlon Ontario member for the full aquathlon.

2026 Age Group Qualifier Aquathlon (1 spot per age group per gender)

We are also offering a “half” aquathlon consisting of a 500m swim and 2.5km run.  You do not have to be a member to participate in this event.  This event is not a provincial championship.

Sunday, September 20, 2026

The only point-to-point race in the Province, this race starts at the Welland International Flatwater Centre and winds its way through the beautiful Niagara countryside ending at the world-famous Niagara Falls.

Athletes will start the day at the Welland International Flatwater Centre, a legacy facility of the 2015 Toronto Pan Am Games. Construction of the Welland Canal started nearly 200 years ago and was a major contributor to the growth and prosperity of southern Ontario. It has become an ideal location for warm, pristine open water swimming. You will then bike and run your way to the world famous Niagara Falls, one of the natural wonders of the world.

From the vineyards to the numerous family-friendly attractions, the Niagara Region has something to offer everyone so we hope you take some time to enjoy the sights while in the area.

Good luck to all of those racing for points, a title, a PB or just for pure enjoyment of the experience!

*Note swim/bike, bike/run, and relays are an option for the event.
