Welcome to the 3rd Annual Copper Town Triathlon! Many people choose to travel around the province and even the country to race in these types of events. This year it will be close to home with the 2nd annual Copper Town Triathlon being held in Bruce Mines, Ontario just a 45 minute drive from Sault Ste. Mare, Ontario.

The race features a beautiful course. The swim will start from the Bruce Mines Marina in the crisp clear waters of Bruce Bay on the shores of Lake Huron. It will then transition to the bike that will be a looped course down the tree lined roads of Copper Bay Road and finish with a scenic paved out and back run with a few hills to challenge athletes on Taylor Street.

The Triathlon Weekend is a long standing tradition in the town of Leamington.  Having started out in a local family’s backyard pool and racing around their neighbourhood, the race has grown quite a lot over the years. We have become more than just a triathlon!!

The race includes Leamington Kids Triathlon, Adult Try-a-Tri, Adult Do-a-Du, Sprint Triathlon, Sprint Duathlon, Open Water Swims, and 5km Run.

Swim-run for kids from 3 all the way up to adults. Focus is on fun and participation with everyone receiving the same medal and applause. Our event is fun for your entire family, and all athletes looking for an early season race.

Join an amazing community of people for ONE LAST TriAdventure weekend where we will acknowledge, as a community, the incredible work we’ve done together over the past 15 years to create, sustain and bring a dream to life. This will be our final massive fundraising push that will take the whole project to the finish line over the next 5 years.

Based out of Kelso Conservation Area in Milton, this is Subaru’s first race of the season and a crowd favourite. A variety of different races are available: Try-A-Tri, Sprint Triathlon, along with a Duathlon.

Come tackle the challenging “6th line hill” or enjoy the scenic run course consisting of both road and cross country type trails. Try a Tri athletes get to bypass the 6th line hill!
